The love of my life has been begging for tomato soup since literally the day after he ate the last bowl of the last batch. It’s day 33 of “please make tomato soup” so here we are.
This week’s soup is a classic, delicious, and joyful expression of brightness. It’s the soup your parents served you on sick days home with a diagonally sliced gooey grilled cheese. Top it with fresh Basil, fancy olive oil, and a generous heap of parmesan. Grab some fresh tortellini from Rosario’s and have a little tortellini soup moment. The best part about soup is that you can dress it up or dress it down exactly how you like it!
Tomato Soup: butter, olive oil, onions, garlic, veggie broth, tomatoes, cream, and spices
I know I talk a big game about my soups, but here is a reminder that I also serve Banana Bread and Bone Broth.
Bone Broth: Marrow Bones, NYC tap water, lemongrass, kafir lime leaves, salt, ginger
